According to PW Insider, WWE held a backstage meeting with talent prior to last night's Raw in Brooklyn to address concerns of the Coronavirus. Reports are that the meeting was to go over the newest information regarding the viral epidemic, including what talents could do while traveling to protect themselves from exposure.
Yesterday it was revealed that Coronavirus had been detected in the Tampa Bay area, the hosting city of this year's WrestleMania 36. At this point the show is still expected to go on. WWE Chief Brand Officer Stephanie McMahon recently discussed the precautions the company is taking, stating that the safety of WWE's superstars and fanbase are the primary concern. Meanwhile...wrestling companies like STARDOM and NJPW were forced to cancel weeks of events due to the recent spread of the virus throughout Japan.
