WWE WrestleMania 36 will go on.

The company issued the following press release to ESPN announcing that their "Show of Shows" will continue as scheduled despite concerns of the Coronavirus epidemic that has been spreading rapidly across the world, including in the WrestleMania host city of Tampa. WWE explains that the health and safety of fans and performers are their top concern, but will remain committed to their date on April 5th.

The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay. We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.

WWE management recently held a backstage meeting with talent and employees to share new information about the Coronavirus, and proper ways to avoid exposure. As of this writing they have yet to cancel any upcoming events.
