Two WWE stars have been pulled from WrestleMania 36 due to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
According to the Wrestling Observer, Rey Mysterio and Dana Brooke are both currently under quarantine from the virus and will not be able to work this year's "Showcase of the Immortals." Reports state that Brooks is actually battling illness, but no confirmation on whether it's related to COVID-19. She was set to compete in a six-pack challenge for Bayley's SmackDown women's championship. The bout has since turned into a Fatal-Five way.
Meanwhile Mysterio would have possibly challenged for Andrade's United States championship at Mania, especially after his non-title singles-victory over El Idolo on last week's episode of Raw. WWE shifted by teaming Andrade and Angel Garza together to challenge the Street Profits for the Raw tag team titles.
Brooke and Mysterio have yet to comment on their quarantine. Wishing Brooke a speedy recovery on her illness, and hope that Mysterio is healthy as well.
Stay safe friends.
