IMPACT Wrestling was in Las Vegas this past weekend for another round of tapings for AXS television. At last night's show, it was revealed that Ken Shamrock will be the next member inducted into the promotions hall of fame. The World's Most Dangerous Man joins Sting, Jeff Jarrett, Gail Kim, Team 3D, Earl Hebner, Abyss, and the Olympic Hero Kurt Angle as a fellow inductee. Reports are that Shamrock's ceremonial induction will take place during the company's Bound For Glory weekend this upcoming October.

During the announcement, oVe leader Sami Callihan returned and threw a fireball in Shamrock's face, setting up a potential future feud. Whether this bout takes place on a regular episode of IMPACT, or is a set-up for the TNA Throwback event entitled There's No Place Like Home, remains to be seen.

Shamrock began his stint in IMPACT (then TNA) back in 2002 shortly after his departure from the WWE. He won the vacated NWA/TNA heavyweight championship, and becoming the first recognized world champion in the promotion's history. He's also a member of the UFC Hall of Fame.
