The main event for IMPACT Wrestling's upcoming Rebellion pay per view has been set.

During last night's tapings of IMPACT for AXS TV, world champion Tessa Blanchard challenged Michael Elgin and Eddie Edwards to a triple-threat match for the title at the April event in New York City. Edwards and Elgin squared off in a number one contender's matchup, but the bout ended in a draw when both men's shoulders were pinned to the mat. Blanchard appeared post-match to lay down the challenge.

Elgin debuted for IMPACT during last year's Rebellion event in Canada, attacking then world champion Brian Cage. Meanwhile Blanchard faced-off and defeated Knockouts star Gail Kim, while Edwards competed in a six-way bout. This will be Blanchard's first pay per view title defense since winning the belt from Sami Callihan at Hard To Kill last month.
