Former two-time NXT women's champion Shayna Baszler is finally moving to the main roster.
In a new report from the Wrestling Observer, Baszler is expected to make her debut on Monday Night Raw soon. Reports have indicated that the MMA horsewoman will challenge Raw women's champion Becky Lynch for an eventual showdown at this year's WrestleMania in Tampa Florida. Baszler and Lynch briefly faced-off at November's Survivor Series pay per view in a headlining triple-threat bout, which included SmackDown women's champion Bayley. Baszler picked up the win for team NXT by choking Bayley out.
The Observer states that this call-up has been in the works for a while, nearly a year. Baszler had a combined 548 title day reign during her time in the yellow-and-black brand.
