WWE superstar Sasha Banks issued a short statement on Instagram where the Boss talks about "fighting for a dream." She also shares a series of photos of herself and Bayley carrying the WWE women's tag team championship, a pair of titles that Banks and Bayley reportedly pushed hard for management to bring to the women's division.
The Boss writes, "Sometimes you'll have to fight for a dream that no one else can see but you. That's alright though. Not everyone needs to understand what it is that sets your heart on fire."
The WWE women's tag team titles were introduced at last year's Elimination Chamber pay per view, where The Boss 'N' Hug Connection (Bayley and Banks) became inaugural champions. After a successful defense at Fastlane they would lose the belts at WrestleMania 35 to the IIconics. Banks would not return until August, where she began a feud with Raw women's champion Becky Lynch. Bayley would hover in limbo until winning the Money In The Bank contract and cashing in on Charlotte Flair to become SmackDown women's champion. She is now in her second reign, and has held it a record 270 combined days.
