WWE issued the following press release announcing that Samoa Joe has been suspended for 30-days due to a wellness policy violation. This is his first offense since signing with the company back in 2015.

WWE has suspended Nuufolau Seanoa (Samoa Joe) for 30 days effective Monday, February 24, for his first violation of the company's talent wellness policy.

Joe gets added to the list of several other WWE stars who received a similar suspension including Primo Colon and United States champion Andrade. He has been out of action after suffering a concussion while filming a WWE commercial, his second within a month span. Previously he had missed a couple of months at the end of last year because of a broken thumb.
