Roman Reigns is already looking ahead to WrestleMania 37. The Big Dog was on-site for today's press conference for next year's "show of shows" from SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, California. The city is also the home of Reigns' cousin, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. Reigns was asked to comment on a potential showdown between himself and the People's Champion, a match that fans have been speculating about for years. He responded by calling next year's event a perfect atmosphere for the two to finally square off.
I said it earlier. Man, if there's a stadium to hold... Hey DJ, check it out. Not bad, right? I mean, everyone's always dream-matching me and him. First of all, we're family so it's all love, but if there was going to be an event for him to compete in, to perform in, a venue to hold that mass scale of attention that he's going to bring... it's right here in your backyard, you know what I mean? Ya ain't gotta go far.
Rock and Reigns have shared time together in a WWE ring before. At the 2013 Royal Rumble he sent his cousin through a table as a member of the Shield while assisting then WWE champion CM Punk. Two years later at the same event, Rocky returned to help Reigns fight off the Big Show and Kane shortly after Reigns won the annual elimination matchup. A moment that the Philadelphia crowd rejected to the Great One' surprise.
Reigns also recently appeared in the Fast and the Furious spin-off Hobbs and Shaw starring the Rock and Jason Statham. Check out video of his comments below courtesty of NBC San Diego's Fernado Ramirez.
