Ric Flair recently spoke with TMZ Sports about a potential future showdown between his daughter, Charlotte Flair, and fellow pro wrestling legend Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's daughter, Simone Johnson.
The two-time WWE Hall Of Famer spoke with the celebrity-gossip website before attending Wednesday night's episode of NXT On USA at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida, as he was on hand to watch "The Queen" make her WWE NXT return against Bianca Belair.
When asked if he would like to see a future showdown between his daughter and The Rock's daughter -- a fourth generation prospect who recently started at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida -- "The Nature Boy" shared his belief that it will be a while before Simone is up to that level.
"Oh yeah. Yup, of course," Flair said. "Simone's a beautiful girl too, but I don't think ... there's a lot of training that goes involved, and they've got so many great stars there.
"But yeah, Simone will be there," Flair continued. "She's coming!"
From there, Flair spoke about how excited The Rock is to see his daughter perform on the same stage where he made his name.
"I know The Rock is thrilled she's there," said Flair. "You know? Who wouldn't be."
In his closing comments about Simone Johnson, 'Naitch brought up the fact that Simone comes from a long, successful bloodline of pro wrestling legends.
"I haven't seen her wrestle yet, so it's hard to predict, you know," Flair said when again talking about the talent-level of the new WWE talent. "She's got [The Rock's] genetics and she's got determination.
"I know she's been dieing to do this," he concluded.
