NXT superstar Tommaso Ciampa may be dealing with a leg or knee injury.
The Sicilian Psychopath teamed with Matt Riddle and Pete Dunne to face the Undisputed Era in the main event of last night's episode of NXT television. According to Wrestling Inc, Ciampa was repeatedly checked on by doctors at ringside during the show, as well as by Dunne while they were standing on the apron together. He was noticeably favoring his leg at multiple points. Reports are that the potential injury could have taken place prior to the main event beginning.
At this time it is not known whether the injury is legitimate or if the former NXT champion was just selling. An NXT injury report will be released later this evening. As of this writing, Ciampa is still scheduled to face Adam Cole of the NXT Title at the February 16th Takeover Portland pay per view.
