Major League Wrestling is reportedly unhappy with WWE.
PW Insider states that attorneys from MLW have approached attorneys from WWE in regards to alleged contract tampering. While wrestlers in MLW are able to work for multiple companies, the one restriction is that they cannot take dates from WWE. MLW sources also reveal that they have evidence of the alleged tampering from WWE if the situation were to ever go to court. Davey Boy Smith Jr. recently appeared on WWE's The Bump along with fellow Hart family members Tyson Kidd and Natalya, but this was not the specific incident the report is referring to.
MLW made its grand return to the wrestling circuit in 2017. The exclusivity of MLW contracts have since been heightened, especially after AEW was formed roughly one year ago. In that time MLW has run sold-out events throughout the United States, and recently held the company's first pay per view in this rebirthed era.
