WrestleMania is coming to the West Coast.
It was announced earlier this morning that the 2021 "Grandaddy of Them All" will be hosted at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles California. The venue is the home of the NFL's Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams football franchises, and will also serve as the host for the 2022 Superbowl LVI. The stadium seats roughly 70,000 fans at capacity, but with WWE's set-up they could easily break 100,000 and set a new attendance record.
When news broke, Inglewood Mayor James Butts Jr. told the LA Times, "Many people are more excited about us hosting WrestleMania than the Olympics."
WrestleMania 37 will be held on March 28, 2021. Los Angeles served as the host of two of the first seven WrestleManias, but has not hosted one since 2005. Check out WWE's announcement in the video above.
