The pro wrestling scene in the Tampa, Florida area is about to be a hotbed for the industry as the annual WrestleMania Season is fast-approaching.
With that in mind, one of the top talents not signed by WWE or AEW right now -- Will Ospreay -- has been announced for two independent wrestling events in Tampa in April.
Ospreay will be in action at Game Changer Wrestling's Joey Janela's Spring Break 4 at The Cuban Club in Ybor City on Friday, April 3, it was announced today (see below).
Also announced for the show is Japanese pro wrestling legend The Great Muta.

In addition to the GCW: Joey Janela's Spring Break 4 event on 4/3, Ospreay is the first wrestler set for this year's WrestleCon Mark Hitchcock Memorial SuperShow scheduled for The Ritz in Ybor City on Thursday, April 2 (see below).
He has worked the annual WrestleCon SuperShow every year dating back to 2016.
As far as Ospreay's injury status following night one of the annual New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) Wrestle Kingdom 14 event, Dave Meltzer (@DaveMeltzerWON) reported the following in this week's issue of the long-trusted Wrestling Observer Newsletter, which is available for members now at F4WOnline.com:
- "After the show came word he was injured and may have broken his heel. He said he did''t feel that bad when he got up two days later and worked [NJPW] New Year's Dash. But that night he was really hurting bad. He underwent X-rays and had suffered a fractured heel. But at this point he's scheduled back for New Japan for the next tour that starts 1/25 and for a British title match with Zack Sabre Jr."
