"The Big Dog" Roman Reigns recently took a subtle shot at WWE Hall Of Fame legend Bill Goldberg while responding to a fan on social media this week.
Reigns responded to a fan on Twitter who asked why there was a small black pad present on the stage during his entrance.
The WWE Superstar revealed that the pad is there to protect his hand when striking his signature pose, explaining that he doesn't want to injure himself.
He then joked that it would be stupid to punch the ground without it, almost as stupid as headbutting a door before a match -- a clear jab at WWE Hall Of Fame legend Bill Goldberg.
"Nothing to explain Nick," wrote Reigns. "It's a little piece of pad. So I don't break my hand on steel grate. I gotta perform like 48 weeks a year man. So that would be stupid."
He continued, "It would be like, head butting a door before my match level of stupid. Anyway, have a good day Nick."
Goldberg's pre-match ritual made him forget an entire promo during a Raw in 2017, where he swore he would never headbutt a door again.
