The vicious attack Edge suffered at the hands of his former tag-team partner Randy Orton on the post-Royal Rumble episode of Monday Night RAW earlier this week is still being felt throughout the WWE Universe.
The latest edition of the popular digital series "WWE Now" features an extensive look at the various reactions to the violent and shocking turn of events that took place when the former Rated-RKO tag-team partners reunited in the ring.
During Monday night's episode of WWE RAW, "The Rated-R Superstar" Edge came to the ring to soak in his WWE comeback, which started the previous night when the WWE Hall Of Famer stunned the WWE Universe with his surprise return in the Men's Rumble match at the 2020 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
After suffering a horrific attack with a steel chair getting wrapped around his surgically repaired neck and stomped on by "The Viper," Edge was loaded into a stretcher and wheeled into an awaiting ambulance in the parking lot of the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas, the host venue and location for the memorable January 27th episode of WWE Monday Night RAW.
The new episode of WWE Now that dropped on the official WWE YouTube channel on Thursday featured a look at the various reactions to the news including a video message from Edge's wife, fellow WWE Hall Of Famer and NXT On USA announce team member Beth Phoenix. The official description for the episode reads: "WWE Now takes a look at the widespread reaction to Randy Orton's shocking attack on Edge from Raw, including thoughts from Edge's wife and WWE Hall of Famer Beth Phoenix."
