Alex Shelley Wins In NXT Pittsburgh House Show Debut After Reuniting Popular NJPW Tag-Team (Video)

At the NXT Pittsburgh live event on Friday evening, former TNA IMPACT Wrestling veteran Alex Shelley made his WWE NXT debut in a tag-team match alongside his Dusty Classic partner Kushida.

Shelley and Kushida, who are scheduled to compete against The Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) in the opening round of the 2020 Dusty Rhodes Tag-Team Classic Tournament next Wednesday night on NXT On USA, defeated The Forgotten Sons in a tag-team match on the show.

Shelley and Kushida are former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag-Team Champions in New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) twice as the Time Splitters.

NXT will return with a live event again this evening, January 11th, at Packard Music Hall in Warren, Ohio and again on Sunday night at the Buffalo RiverWorks in Buffalo, New York.
