The report card is in for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), as the ratings and viewership for this week's edition of AEW Dynamite have surfaced.
The Wednesday, December 4th episode of AEW Dynamite, which emanated from the State Farm Center in Champaign, Illinois, drew 851,000 viewers on TNT, according to Showbuzz Daily.
By comparison, last week's AEW Dynamite show from the Sears Centre Arena in Chicago, Illinios drew 663,000 viewers to TNT, marking an increase of 188,000 viewers for this week's AEW show.
Regarding the significant increase in viewership this week, it is worth noting that the 188,000 viewer-increase is compared to the Thanksgiving Eve show, which was down from the regular weekly average. For a better comparison sake, the 11/20 AEW Dynamite show from the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, Indiana drew 893,000 viewers.
AEW returned to the top spot over NXT On USA in the latest chapter of the ongoing "Wednesday Night Wars" showdown with WWE's weekly black-and-gold show, as AEW Dynamite out-drew NXT On USA on 12/4 by 6,000 viewers, as this week's WWE NXT show finished with 845,000 viewers on the USA Network.
The 12/4 episode of AEW Dynamite tied for seventh in the coveted 18-to-49 year-old demographic, also topping NXT On USA, which finished 12th on the same list.
