Things could get interesting as "The Nature Boy's" contract with World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) is soon coming to an end, and he is said to be good friends with the top dog on the other side of the pro wrestling fence at All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

Ric Flair's legends contract with WWE is scheduled to expire at the end of this year, according to Dave Meltzer's latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter at F4WOnline.com.

As of this week, the two-time WWE Hall Of Fame legend had yet to agree to an extension or new agreement with the company.

The merchandise of Flair is going to be pulled from the Pro Wrestling Tees website after 1/13. This led to some rumors claiming that he had come to terms with WWE, however apparently that is not the case, as the merchandise getting removed was a strategic business move done by his team.

In terms of the pro wrestling future of 'Naitch, it is worth noting that he is reportedly good friends with AEW CEO & President Tony Khan, so much so that he extended an invitation to Khan to his wedding.

It's also worth noting, however, that WWE is expected to make him a substantial offer to remain with the company on some level, as he is one of the key figures that WWE does not want representing the AEW brand, or appearing on their weekly AEW Dynamite show on TNT.

We will keep you posted here at DailyWrestlingNews.com as additional details surface regarding the pro wrestling future of "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair.
