The WWE 24/7 Championship is back in the hands of a WWE Superstar, as R-Truth recaptured the title from NASCAR star Kyle Busch in a post-RAW segment taped backstage at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee after Monday night's show.
As seen on WWE RAW this week, NASCAR stars Kyle Busch and Michael Waltrip were sitting front row for the weekly red brand program when WWE 24/7 Champion R-Truth ran down to ringside during the live broadcast.
This set up a title-change segment that saw Busch roll-up Truth for a three-count from Waltrip, who revealed he was wearing a referee shirt under his jacket.
The two would celebrate with the WWE 24/7 Championship as they fled to the backstage area while Truth sat in shock at ringside in the arena.
After the show, Busch would pose for his first official photo shoot as WWE 24/7 Champion when Truth would roll him up from behind and score a three-count of his own, effectively regaining his title in the process.
