Drew McIntyre Writes About "Returning Home" To Scotland, Reveals Legend Who Helped Him Early On

Drew McIntyre took to social media to write about returning home to Scotland where he started his pro wrestling career 19 years ago, giving props to one WWE Hall Of Fame legend in particular for encouraging him to "keep pushing" at a crucial time in his journey to the top.

"The Scottish Psychopath" posted a statement on his official Twitter page on Saturday afternoon to comment about being back in Scotland for the holidays.

"Feels damn good to be back home in Scotland where my journey began 19 years ago," wrote McIntyre. "Everyone told me making WWE was impossible, nobody from Scotland had ever been signed."

From there he would go on to reveal which WWE Hall Of Fame legend he credits for giving him some much-needed encouragement during his ascent to the world of WWE.

"....aside this guy right here which encouraged me to keep pushing," he wrote. "I haven't changed a bit Jake 'The Snake' Roberts."
