The report card is in for the sophomore edition of WWE Backstage airing in its' regular weekly time slot on FOX Sports 1 (FS1), and the news is much better this week than it was for the premiere episode last week.
The Tuesday, November 12th edition of WWE Backstage On FS1 -- which featured a surprise appearance by CM Punk (Video Here) -- drew approximately 100,000 viewers, according to Showbuzz Daily.
By comparison, this is more than double the horrendous 49,000 viewers that the show drew for its official premiere in its' regular weekly 11pm EST / 8pm PST time slot on FS1 last Tuesday night, November 5th.
The two preview shows in October drew 597,000 and 426,000, however they followed an MLB playoff game and an episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on FOX, respectively.
The hope is that with CM Punk now on board, next week's show will see another increase in the ratings which the company will look to maintain by including various newsworthy announcements and guests on future shows going forward.
