Tony Khan And Seth Rollins Respond To CM Punk's State Of Pro Wrestling Tweet

Top WWE star Seth Rollins and AEW President/CEO both took to Twitter this afternoon to respond to CM Punk's earlier tweet on the state of pro wrestling, comments he made while preparing for his new role as analyst on the WWE Backstage studio show on FS1.

For those readers who missed the original tweet, Punk wrote, "It IS weird trying to catch up on 5+ years of rasslin', I'm doing what I can. There's bright spots, mostly women from what I can tell. There's BAD too. I'm gonna talk about it, and no one is safe. Join us. @ReneeYoungWWE @WWEonFOX @BookerT5x @RealPaigeWWE @VinceMcMahon @TonyKhan"

Punk tagged Khan and WWE Chairman/CEO Vince McMahon in the tweet, along with Backstage co-hosts Booker T, Renee Young, and Paige.

Khan responded to Punk's tweet and apparently made fun of the recent WWE travel situation in Saudi Arabia, which brought him some heat from fans.

Khan wrote, "No one is safe? Sounds like a plane full of wrestlers in Saudi Arabia!"

Regarding Rollins, he responded to Punk's tweet and called him out for a fight once again.

Rollins wrote, "Don't talk about me, fight me. I'll catch ya right up."

This tweet from Rollins came after Rollins tweeted another challenge to Punk after Punk made his brief WWE Backstage debut last Tuesday night. Rollins tweeted Punk to fight him, and then said he would be glad to travel to the FOX Studios to discuss his beef with Punk live on Backstage, after the WWE on FOX account challenged him to come.

There have been no other responses from Punk, Rollins, Khan or any others involved as of this writing. You can see the related tweets below:
