It looks like NXT Superstar Roderick Strong could soon be heading to the WWE main roster, as champions from both main roster brands -- Raw and SmackDown -- are publicly calling him out for singles matches after coming up short to The Undisputed ERA member at WWE Survivor Series on Sunday night.
WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura took to Twitter to comment on his loss at WWE Survivor Series where "The King of Strong Style" wished the match winner, NXT's Roderick Strong, congratulations before claiming that he only won due to luck.
"Congrats [Roderick Strong]," wrote Nakamura. "But it was just lucky. You'll pay for this soon maybe. [AJ Styles], we're not done yet."
He continued, "Anyway I was standing tall in the ring.... tallest."
The NXT North American champion responded by challenging Nakamura to a singles match.
"I am open to a 1-on-1 match up any time my friend," Strong wrote in response to Nakamura's tweet. "Let's see if it was luck!"
