Mick Foley spoke about CM Punk's surprise return to the WWE Universe on the FOX-produced "WWE Backstage" series on FS1 last week during Monday's edition of the ESPN MMA video podcast, "Ariel Helwani's MMA Show."
"The Hardcore Legend" touched on "The Best in the World" making the surprise appearance on last Tuesday's "WWE Backstage on FS1" episode, as Helwani asked him if he was surprised to hear the news about Punk's return.
"Everybody comes back," Foley replied, not seeming the least-bit surprised that Phil Brooks, a former 0-2 UFC fighter, made a comeback in front of the WWE Universe last week.
Additionally, during his appearance on the popular weekly MMA program to promote a new film project, the WWE Hall Of Famer and New York Times best-selling author spoke about his current physical condition after being years removed from his active pro wrestling career, which is infamous for being one of the most physically punishing in the history of the business.
