The report cards for WWE and AEW are in for this week's Wednesday Night Wars battle, as the ratings and viewership for NXT On USA and AEW Dynamite have surfaced.
The numbers are in for last night's AEW Dynamite and NXT shows and for the first time since the shows began competing against each other head-to-head, NXT won the battle in total viewership.
It is worth noting, however, that AEW maintained its top position in the coveted 18-49 year-old demographic.
NXT was watched by 916,000 viewers, with a 0.30 rating in the 18-49 demo for the 11/20 episode that aired on the USA Network this week, while AEW Dynamite was watched by 893,000 viewers, with a 0.39 rating in the 18-49 demo for their 11/20 show on TNT.
NXT's viewership was actually the highest the show has gotten since AEW began airing in the first week of October, no doubt getting a bump in numbers from the Survivor Series story line that brought several WWE Raw and WWE SmackDown Superstars to the show.
On the night, AEW finished number eight in the coveted demo, while NXT was outside of the top ten at number 14.
Across the other demos, AEW actually won them all except in the "50+" demo, which NXT actually won handily.
