CM Punk Comments On The State Of Pro Wrestling After Catching Up For WWE Backstage

CM Punk took to Twitter today to reflect on the state of professional wrestling while catching up on the business for his new WWE Backstage role.

Punk tagged two interesting people in the tweet - WWE Chairman/CEO Vince McMahon and AEW President/CEO Tony Khan.

Punk wrote:

"It IS weird trying to catch up on 5+ years of rasslin', I'm doing what I can. There's bright spots, mostly women from what I can tell. There's BAD too. I'm gonna talk about it, and no one is safe. Join us. @ReneeYoungWWE @WWEonFOX @BookerT5x @RealPaigeWWE @VinceMcMahon @TonyKhan."

Punk made his WWE Backstage arrival at the end of last Tuesday's episode. Tomorrow's show at 11pm ET on FS1 will be the first episode where he actually gets involved in the various discussions. Punk's tweet indicated that he may be the one to bring AEW into the talks with Renee Young, Booker T, Paige, and the other hosts.
