Chris Jericho Praises WWE For First-Ever Women's Wrestling Match In Saudi Arabia

The reigning, defending AEW World's Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho took to social media to offer his compliments to Natalya, Lacey Evans and WWE for making history by promoting the first-ever women's pro wrestling match in Saudi Arabia this week.

The leader of The Inner Circle took to social media on Thursday to praise WWE for putting on the first-ever women's match at their WWE Crown Jewel 2019 pay-per-view event at King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with Natalya defeating Lacey Evans in one-on-one competition.

As noted, Nattie and Lacey were forced to wear special ring gear for the match, but still pulled off a history-making performance in the process.

"Congrats to Natalya & Lacey Evans for having the first ever women's wrestling match in Saudi Arabia history!" Jericho added, "That's a monumental moment!"
