AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS (11/20)

The Wednesday, November 20th episode of AEW Dynamite kicks off with a shot of the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, IN., as pyro explodes and fireworks go off in the venue and the fans chant "AEW! AEW!" while Jim Ross and the AEW commentary crew run down some of the action scheduled for tonight's show.

Nick Jackson vs. Rey Fenix

After running down some of the advertised matches and segments for tonight, The Young Bucks theme music hits the loud speakers and out comes Nick Jackson as a confetti bomb explodes for his "pyro/fireworks" during his entrance. Jim Ross hypes this as a potential Match of the Year candidate before it even begins.

From there, The Lucha Brothers music plays as Rey Fenix comes down to the ring as fireworks explode. During his entrance, Tony Schiavone hypes up Fenix as a performer. This highly-anticipated one-on-one showdown kicks off AEW Dynamite this week.

As the bell sounds to officially kick this one off, the crowd intensity picks up while The Excalibur informs us about the history of The Young Bucks / Lucha Bros feud to highlight the significance of this singles contest.

Meanwhile, the action is fully underway now, as Jackson and Fenix exchange reversals and move attempts in-and-out of the ring, cancelling each other's attempts out one-after-the-other as the crowd chants get going again.

The announcers plug the previously announced AEW Bash At The Beach nine-day fan extravaganza while the pace inside the ring between Fenix and Jackson picks up, with The Lucha Brothers member gaining the first early offensive advantage. While holding onto Nick Jackson's hand, Fenix leaps up to the top rope and bounces around the ropes, finishing by whipping The Young Buck member with the momentum taking him all the way out to the floor.

Jackson fights back once he returns to the ring, getting in some offense of his own before knocking Fenix out to the floor and missing a big top-rope somersault attempt. Both guys are down as the first "This Is Awesome!" chant breaks out inside Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

Back in the ring, Fenix with a crazy flip spot off the top rope connects on Nick for a near fal. Fenix grounds The Young Buck member now and continues to go to work on him. Jackson starting to once again try to fight back, but Fenix cuts his attempts shorts. He walks the ropes like a cat, but ends up coming down to the mat to eat some kicks from Nick.

Nick is now putting together his first offensive series in a while. He goes for a pin attempt, but comes up short. Both guys are recovering now as the fans try to get some various chants going. Another crazy spot from Nick again results in a near fall for The Young Buck member. The crowd went absolutely bonkers for that one, with chants carrying through the immediate replays that are shown.

The two continue to try and top each previous spot, as just when you think they can't turn it up and elicit bigger pops with their offense than they already have -- they do exactly that. This is becoming a pay-per-view quality showdown, as the near falls continue to get closer-and-closer as the match develops further.

Nick Jackson with a stalling German Suplex while he and Rey Fenix exchanged kicks outside the ring ropes, but still on the ring apron, garners the first "Holy Sh*t! Holy Sh*t!" fan-chant of the evening. Jackson comes in with a spiking-facebuster after leapfrogging himself into the ring from the ropes. He follows that up with a leapfrog into a Canadian Destroyer for an extremely close near fall.

That doesn't get the three either, but Jackson goes from that directly into a finishing submission spot. Fenix, however, manages to fight his way to the ropes, forcing the hold to be broken. "AEW! AEW!" chants scatter and spread throughout the arena now as Fenix starts to show signs of life and fight back as the pace of the action once again picks up inside the squared circle, leading to Fenix connecting with a spinning Muscle Buster for the 1-2-3.

EXCELLENT match to kick off AEW Dynamite this week. After the match, instead of mutual respect being shown between the two, which is what it looked like was about to happen, Fenix turns his back and in typical heel fashion, walks off as a sore winner.

Winner: Rey Fenix

Dr. Britt Baker vs. Hikaru Shida

After a quick AEW merchandise website commercial, Dr. Britt Baker's theme hits and out she comes for our second match of the evening here at AEW Dynamite.

From there, Hikaru Shida's theme hits and she makes her way out to face Baker in one-on-one action in the AEW Women's division.

The bell sounds and here we go. Each girl has their brief moments early, with Shida starting to gain the upper-hand as we head to our first commercial break of the evening. It is a split-screen commercial that shows Shida continuing to dominate the action as the commercials air.

We return from the break to see Baker's nose has been busted open hard way, as her nostrals are free-flowing with blood now as the action continues with Shida in control back on AEW Dynamite.

Baker gets Shida into the corner, Shida throws up a boot as Baker goes for a Clothesline. Shida takes control of the match momentarily, throwing Baker into the baracade. Shida grabs a chair and sets it up ringside, waving at fans as she uses it for a high flying knee to Baker.

Shida drags Baker back to the top of the apron, Shida going to the second turnbuckle, grabbing Baker by the hair. Baker grabs Shida's arm and drops to the outside of the ring, attempting to pull Shida's arm with her. Baker jumps back in the ring with a Face Buster and a two count, Shida kicking out just in time.

Back and forth between the two, Shida ends up on the outside of the rope, Pendulum DDT by Baker over the top rope and another failed pin fall. Baker lifts Shida back to her feet, fighting free out of the Neck Breaker performed by Baker.

Flying Knee by Shida as she regains control of the match. Several elbows to the face of Baker. Shida with two failed pin attempts, Baker counters with some sort of submission move, misses. Shida pokes Baker in the eye, taking her to the mat and attempting to pin, Baker kicks out. A few more failed pin attempts by Shida, Baker kicking out each time. Finally a Flying Knee to the face of Shida, and a pin for the three count and the win.

After the match, Baker looks upset as she crawls out of the ring, looking back at Shida one last time as she punches the mat, rolling out. Shida holds up her kindo stick in victory, holding her neck as she leaves the ring, walking up the ramp.

Winner: Hikaru Shida

Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal

Music sounds for Hangman Page as his pyro goes off behind him, Page making his way down the ramp, fans cheer as he enters the ring.

More when we come back from commercial break, as we head to a split-screen break as Orange Cassidy and The Best Friends come out.

When we return, Billy Gunn is making his way to the ring as fans chant "Holy Sh*t! Holy Sh*t!" Bodies are flying all over the place now, as some eliminations are already taking place before we've even established who all is in the match.

MJF is in there now, with Gunn standing behind him. Jimmy Havoc, who has already been eliminated, has a staple gun and re-enters the ring. He is stapling everyone in sight as referees finally get him out of the ring and to the back. We head to a break.

We return from break to see Shawn Spears, The Chairman of AEW, interfered with a steel chair to help eliminate Joey Janela as replays are shown. Orange Cassidy is sitting in the ring chilling with his sunglasses on now, while Billy Gunn is knocking down anything and anyone that moves.

Orange Cassidy stands up, and the crowd explodes. It's just Gunn and Cassidy standing toe-to-toe now. Cassidy puts his hands in his pockets and throws wimpy leg kicks at Gunn. He winds up for the final one, however MJF grabs Cassidy and eliminates him.

Now as MJF shows off to the crowd, he backs up and realizes Billy Gunn is standing behind him. MJF slaps him. Gunn does the crotch chop and says "Suck It!" before hitting a FameAsser on MJF. He goes to throw him out of the ring, but doesn't get the elimination.

As Gunn goes over to finish the elimination, he sees Warlow coming down the ramp in a suit. This leads to Hangman Page eliminating Gunn.

Kip Sabian, Chuck Taylor, Hangman Page and Jungleboy are the final four. Sabian is now eliminated, as is Taylor. We're down to who we think are last two -- Jungleboy and Hangman Page, for next week's Dynamite ... but wait!

We're told that MJF was hiding under the ring and was never eliminated. He pops up and yanks Jungleboy out of the ring, leaving MJF and Hangman Page as the final two.

The bell sounds and these are our final two. They will square off next week on AEW Dynamite for the AEW diamond ring and the bragging rights of winning the first-ever Dynamite Dozen Battle Royal.

Winners and ADVANCING to finals NEXT WEEK on AEW Dynamite: Hangman Page & MJF

Chris Jericho Makes His "Huge Announcement"

We see the AEW World's Heavyweight Champion and the leader of The Inner Circle -- Le Champion -- Chris Jericho, backstage heading towards the ring as his advertised "Huge Announcement" is hyped by Jim Ross one final time before we head to another commercial break.

As we return from the break, Jericho is making his way to the ring with fellow member of The Inner Circle, Jake Hager. They get to the ring and Jericho begins his "Huge Announcement."

The huge announcement is the Thanksgiving Day Celebration with Le Champion next week in Chicago, as Chris Jericho promises to get the "Thank You" he is long-owed from AEW executives next week on AEW Dynamite. He tries wrapping things up like that's it and as he heads off, the theme of SoCal Uncensored hits the loud speakers in the building.

From there, SCU makes their way to the ring as the announcers remind us that SCU member Scorpio Sky handed Jericho his first official loss in All Elite Wrestling in the AEW Tag-Team Championship contest on last week's episode of AEW Dynamite.

Sky brags about beating Jericho, saying he partied all weekend and his DMs has been blowing up on Twitter. He says he even got a date with his high school sweetheart, Melody. The fans chant "Melody! Melody!" as Jericho says he's seen pics of Melody and she has gotten fat since high school. Sky says he likes big butts and he can not lie! The crowd pops.

Finally, things get going when a match is agreed upon between Jericho and Sky for the AEW World's Heavyweight Championship on AEW Dynamite next week. Jericho is tricked into putting the title on the line as Sky pretends he isn't ready for a title shot. Jericho ends up blasting Sky with a cheap shot, which leads to an all-out brawl. Santana and Ortiz join The Inner Circle in their babyface beat down.

Marko Stunt and Jungleboy try to come out and even things up, but they get some punishment as well. Now Luchasaurus comes out and The Inner Circle retreats as we head to a commercial break.

Luchasaurus vs. Peter Avalon

We return from the break and Luchasaurus is still in the ring. Jungleboy and Marko Stunt are outside the ring as "The Librarian" Peter Avalon will be going one-on-one against the big man returning from injury.

This one doesn't last long at all, as it takes literally less than one minute for the big Luchasaurus to put the finishing touch on Avalon, taking out The Librarian and scoring the pin fall.

Winner: Luchasaurus

Proud 'N' Powerful vs. Private Party

Santana & Ortiz -- now known as Proud 'N' Powerful make their way to the ring. They will be up in action against Mark Quen and Isaiah Kassidy, Private Party, next.

We are told that this match will be in honor of the late, independent pro wrestler Matt Travis, who passed away over the weekend in a tragic accident.

Private Party is now making their way through the velvet red rope on the entrance stage, as Quen and Kassidy head to the ring prepared for this tag-team tilt.

The bell rings and match begins. Waistlock by Santana before Face Washing Isaiah Kassidy. Both men back up and Kassidy gets Santana in a Waistlock. Santana counters throwing Kassidy into the ropes, falling into Kassidy with a big shoulder as he hit the rope. Santana exits the ring after getting stunned by Kassidy.

Santana paces the outside of the ring momentarily with Ortiz, then re-enters the ring. Kassidy signaling "come on" at Santana mockingly and smiling.

Quen in the ring with Ortiz, Santana tagging in. Santana with a Russian Leg Sweep on Quen, Ortiz with a Bridge for the win, Kassidy breaks it up. Quen lands on the knee of Santana, being stretched to his breaking point. Santana lifts Quen to his feet.

Santana with a Stalling Vertical Suplex, holding him midair and tagging in Ortiz who continues to hold him midair all the blood rushing to the head of Quen, once again Santana tags in, then again Ortiz.

Finally the drop and pin attempt, Quen kicks out, trying to shake off the cobwebs of being upside for almost a minute and a half. Ortiz strips off the tails of Quen, Quen counters with elbows to the stomach of Ortiz.

Quen on his knees trying to fight. Boston Crab by Ortiz on Quen, tagging Santana who jumps off the top rope, setting up for the Double Stomp. The ref makes Santana exit the ring. Quen kicks Santana as the referee is trying to remove Kassidy from the ring as we go to break.

As we come back from break Santana trying to pin Quen, followed by a submission attempt, then a big blow to the face of Quen who has been beaten and battered in this ring.

Santana digging his nails up the back of Quen, walking away and knocking Kassidy off the side of the ring before making his way to Ortiz for the tag. Ortiz tags Santana back in who is holding Quen in the air, Quen flips over him tagging Kassidy. Kassidy flips Santana and kicks Ortiz in the face on the outside of the ring then a back flip onto Ortiz on the outside by Kassidy. Kassidy over the top rope, for the one, two... Santana pulls Paul Turner's leg.

Quen out of nowhere over Turner landing on Santana. Quen unable to hit the Silly String because of all the damage to his back. Power Bomb by Santana and a two count pin. Ortiz with a Hanging Cutter after a throat kick, a pin attempt on Kassidy who kicks out.

Both Santana and Ortiz looking shocked. Kassidy laying in the ring, Ortiz makes his way back into the ring with Nick Jackson unarms Ortiz. Kassidy with a big kick on Ortiz, Quen helps Kassidy with the set up and a slam, with a pin on Santana.

After the match, Dustin Rhodes makes his return in a case to help Private Party fight off a three-on-two numbers disadvantage, as Sammy Guevara and the team of Pride 'N' Powerful retreat from their post-match beatdown once "The Natural" enters the picture.

Winners: Private Party

He resumes his workout as the camera fades away.

AEW Dynamite Main Event Is Up NEXT!

We see Jon Moxley pacing backstage as he prepares for this week's AEW Dynamite main event against Darby Allin. Meanwhile, we see Allin preparing by finishing up his face-paint job in the mirror. We head to a commercial break, as our AEW Dynamite main event between Moxley and Allin is up next.

Darby Allin vs. Jon Moxley

Justin Roberts announcers the main event of the evening from the center of the ring, the crowd cheering. Scheduled for one fall. A video package is played showing a body bag crowd surfing across multiple crowds with the initials "MOX" written in red across it. Darby Allin's music plays first as five men are seen carrying a body bag with "MOX" written on it is dropped off at the top of the ramp. A hand appears, unzipping the body bag, exposing a skateboard followed by Darby Allin stepping out. Allin skates down the ramp, dragging the body bag behind him, then drops both items and jumps into the ring. Jon Moxley's music sounds next as he makes his way out through the crowd as usual. Before Moxley can even make his way into the ring, Allin comes flying through the air out of the ring and into Moxley.

Still no bell sounding, Allin throws Moxley over the baracade. Allin once again flying over the baracade into Moxley. Moxley counters and goes to Belly Suplex by Moxley, leaving Allin sitting on the outside of the ring. Moxley comes back and throws Allin into the ring. The referee signals to officially begin the match, the bell rings. Allin gets back to his feet with a Shotgun Dropkick on Moxley. Allin flips Moxley and jumps to the top rope going for a Cross Bow, Moxley just shakes him off, not falling. A Double Footed Drop Kick on Allin by Moxley. Moxley climbs to the second rope looking out into the crowd as Allin is face first in the center of the ring.

Allin finally grabs the bottom rope after inching across the mat. Allin instantly with quick movements and attempts to take Moxley out, only Allin falling over the top rope, Moxley getting caught up in the ropes.

Allin stomping the hand of Moxley, then jumping out and throwing Moxley into the stairs on the outside of the ring. Allin breathing momentarily then goes back to throwing hands at Moxley, slamming his hand again on the stairs before entering the ring again. Moxley makes his way to the side of the ring, Allin kicks him to the floor before he can get in. Allin stepping on the fingers of Moxley, Moxley counters, knocking Allin backwards looking to have fallen in an odd position. Moxley turns Allin inside out with a Suplex. Allin crawls to the edge of the ring, Moxley with a big knee to the face of Allin knocking him to the outside. Moxley throws Allin back in the ring. Moxley picks up the body bag, losing focus momentarily as Allin flies through the ropes onto Moxley.

Allin drags the body bag into the ring, Moxley counters and drags Allin to the body bag, zipping him up inside of the body bag. Allin moving around inside the bag as Moxley begins to stomp the bag over and over. The referee stops Moxley and unzips the bag as the crowd boos. Moxley drags Allin to his feet by his necklace.
