There are now rumors on Rey Mysterio, The Miz, RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch, and WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Alexa Bliss going to the SmackDown roster from the RAW roster soon.
The changes would likely come in the WWE Draft, which is expected to begin on the Friday, October 11 SmackDown episode from Las Vegas, and then wrap up on the October 14 RAW episode from Denver.
The rumors began when photos from a SmackDown/Fox promotional video shoot were revealed. The Two Birds Films production company was hired by Fox to work on the SmackDown promo video during SummerSlam Week in Toronto last month. As seen below, some of the wrestlers featured in the promo were Mysterio, Miz, Lynch, and Bliss, along with two current members of the SmackDown roster - Randy Orton and Mandy Rose.
It's been reported by multiple sources that the WWE Draft is being done to help establish separate rosters for RAW and SmackDown, among other reasons. WWE is planning to have strong brand exclusivity among the Superstars, the announce teams, and the storylines, following the SmackDown Fox premiere on October 4.
Stay tuned for updates on the 2019 WWE Draft and more potential creative/roster changes as we go into the Fall season.
FOX did a photoshoot with WWE superstars over Summerslam weekend in Toronto. I'm not sure if this indicates any of these wrestlers moving to SmackDown on FOX.— HeelByNature.com (@HeelByNatureYT) September 7, 2019
