The WWE Draft is reportedly coming back next month.
Current plans call for the WWE Draft to take place over two-nights, according to John Pollock of POSTWrestling.com and Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com. The Draft is set to begin on the October 11 SmackDown episode from Las Vegas, which will be the second SmackDown Fox episode. The Draft will the conclude three nights later on the October 14 RAW episode from Denver.
It was recently reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE was working on a "new Draft concept" that would establish permanent RAW and SmackDown rosters, a call made by Vince McMahon. The new report from Meltzer noted that the Draft will be part of a series of moves that are designed to "freshen up" both rosters. Apparently there will be other changes made in October that will help freshen things up following the SmackDown Fox premiere.
Stay tuned for WWE's official announcement on the return of the Draft.
