Which Wrestler Topped The PWI Top 500 For 2019?

WWE Universal champion Seth Rollins topped the 29th annual PWI 500, as selected by the staff of Pro Wrestling Illustrated magazine. The selection was made based on achievements during the evaluation period of July 1, 2018 - June 30, 2019.

Following Rollins in the top 10 are Daniel Bryan, AJ Styles, Kofi Kingston, Kazuchika Okada, Johnny Gargano, Roman Reigns, Kenny Omega, Hiroshi Tanahashi and Will Ospreay.

"As difficult as it can be, this is all I ever wanted to be in this position, to be having this conversation with you talking about being the absolute best wrestler on the entire planet," Rollins told Pro Wrestling Illustrated. "I don't think there is a single part of me that would trade any second of it."

Rollins joins Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Triple H and John Cena as the only multi-time winners.

"Those guys obviously are elite," Rollins admitted. "They are in a class all their own. They are Hall of Famers. So to be mentioned amongst them is pretty special."

The magazine is available to order in print or digital format at pwi-online.com.
